Bio-Rad Versa Doc 4000

The VersaDoc™ Model 4000 imaging system is used to capture digital images from single- and multicolor fluorescence, chemiluminescence, chemifluorescence, and colorimetric samples. The system uses a back-illuminated, high-sensitivity with microlens technology CCD detector and flat fielding technology and includes a 50 mm and 20-40 mm zoom lens, sample tray, cleaning kit, Quantity One® software for PC, and instructions. Dimensions are 58 x 66 x 99 cm.
The 4 illumination modes, epi-white & UV, trans-white & UV (302, 254, and 365 nm)
The Model 4000 is the ideal proteomics imager, offering great flexibility (image chemiluminescent western blots, SYPRO Ruby-stained 2-D gels and Coomassie Blue-stained 1-D gels) and state-of-the-art CCD resolution (3.2-megapixel). The megapixel camera provides a maximum resolution of approximately 50 µm.
Some of the camera specs are front-illuminated, high-sensitivity CCD with microlens technology, full-Frame CCD utilizes its entire surface to collect light, 3.2-megapixel (2,184 x 1,472 pixel array), 12-bit, >3 orders of magnitude dynamic range, Peltier cooled.
