Human Angiogenesis (9 Plex) |
Product Information Sheet (PDF) MSDS Information |
Angiogenesis occurs in response to tissue damage, as part of the growth process, or anytime oxygen demand is increased beyond the vascular system’s ability to deliver it. In order to achieve this, new vessels must be brought to the area through angiogenesis. Orchestrated by the immune system through a complex cascade of cytokine and growth factor signals, vessels are directed to and constructed in oxygen depleted areas. Angiogenesis is an integral component of growth and regeneration.
The Q-Plex™ Human Angiogenesis (9-plex) array is a fully quantitative multiplexed ELISA based test where up to 9 distinct capture antibodies have been absorbed to each well of a 96-well plate in a defined array. Using less than 30 µl of sample, up to 80 samples can be assayed for all 9 markers in less than 2.5 hours.
