One of the major concerns with multiplexing assays is the level of cross reactivity of antibodies in the array. The critical questions that need to be answered before antibodies are included in an array are first, how can it be shown that the antibodies in the array are recognizing the right components and second, is the signal produced directly measuring the amount of antigen in the sample?
