Searchlight imager

The SearchLight Imager has been validated to be used with the Q-PlexTM Array technology.  Due to the similarities between the SearchLight technology and the Q-Plex technology, many of the technical issues are remedied.

The SearchLight Imager is 10” wide x 11 ¾” high x 24” deep and utilizes a back-illuminated CCD system (cooled to -27C).  It acquires a 16 bit imager with a resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels (1 MP resolution).  Each pixel size is 13×13 µm.

Although the resolution is quite low, the Imager has been optimized to minimize parallax and vignette effects.  Utilize a 2 min exposure on the SearchLight Imager and import the image file into Q-View for full analysis.
