Licor Odyssey Scanning Instructions for Multiplex Elisa from Quansys Biosciences
1. Instructions for scanning a Quansys Q-plex IR assay using the Licor Odyssey scanner.
2. Launch the Odyssey software, and create a new project.
3. When the “new project” window opens browse for the desired save location and enter in a name for the project. Then select “Done”
4. Once the new project has been created select the blue scan arrow on the software.
5. If required enter in the user name and password, then press “ok”.
6. This will open the scan settings window.
7. Enter in a name for the scan and make sure the settings are the following:
1. Resolution-84
2. Quality-lowest
3. Focus offset-4.0
4. Microplate box-checked
5. Channel-800
6. Intensity- 7 to 10
7. Origin x=0, Y=0
8. Size width=13, height=9
8. Gently clean the bottom of the plate and the glass on the scanner.
9. Place the plate on the front left corner of the scanning bed and close the door.
10. Press Scan in the software when you are ready to scan the plate.
11. If more sensitivity is needed,change the intensity setting in the software closer to 10 and rescan the plate.
12. If the standard curve and samples are saturated then change the intensity setting in the software closer to 7 and rescan the plate.
