Quansys Biosciences is looking for a full time inside sales representative to be part of a team responsible for direct sales of biotechnology products and services to targeted life science research and biotechnology accounts.

Position Type: Full-time, solid base salary commensurate with experience along with commission plan and company benefits

Duties: Promote and sell our products. Develop creative sales strategies to reach ‘hard to see’ customers. Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based on customer needs. Distribute product samples and approved marketing literature to customers. Follow up with customers to gather feedback and answer questions regarding their experience with our products. Proactive management of accounts. Provide feedback to management on customer acceptance and utilization of products, responses to promotional campaigns and other customer needs. Align and coordinate sales activities with co-promote partners. Identify brand advocates at the territory level and coordinate launch activities. Perform all responsibilities following the highest ethical standards. Present technical sales seminars and host local territory trade shows, acting as a representative of the company. Participate in the preparation and exhibition of company products at trade shows to customer groups demonstrating identified solutions that our technology offer. Display and demonstrate products in a professional manner, emphasizing solutions to identified customer needs. Generate prospective customers through cold calling. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Strong scientific background. Strong communication and negotiation skills. A high level of enthusiasm, self-direction and motivation. Ability to perform basic scientific lab procedures. Results oriented with demonstrated time/territory management. Ability to set priorities and workflow to accomplish daily tasks efficiently. The ability to identify, target, prioritize and build strong collaborative relationships with key customers. The ability to work as a sales team member in a collaborative manner. Effective organization and PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Ability to travel to customer sites (up to 25%). Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. Exceptional service skills.

Preferred: 4 year degree (BS/BA) or graduate degree (MBA, MS, PhD). Strong knowledge of the life science and biotechnology research markets.
