Equipment and Assembly Technician
Position Summary
An Equipment and Assembly Technician will produce Q-View Imagers and other components by assembling parts and subassemblies according to assembly instructions and technical drawings. They will maintain and repair laboratory equipment including but not limited to Imagers, Freezers, Refrigerators, Washers, Temperature monitoring equipment, etc. This position maintains equipment records and performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment or assigns others/3rd parties as required. Records include PMs, Calibrations, inspections, etc. They will have the experience to be able to help troubleshoot problems when they arise. They will often work on more precise and complicated assemblies. May assist less experienced team members with knowledge and expertise. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Equipment
- Maintains and repairs laboratory equipment on schedule and as needed including Preventative Maintenance and repairs as required. Maintains the Equipment database and all information contained within it.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Ensures equipment calibration/verifications are completed on schedules and they are documented/records updated.
- Keeps equipment records up to date for all equipment including spare parts, manuals, specifications, records, PM, etc.
- Troubleshooting problems as needed to assist all lab personnel to ensure equipment is running properly.
- Maintains any excess spare part inventory for all equipment
Assembly Technician
- Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units according to technical drawings and/or work instructions.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
- Troubleshooting problems as needed
- Writing, updating, and following SOP’s and Forms to complete all imager assemblies and repairs.
- Maintains the imager inventory and demo inventory. Coordinates with Inventory specialist to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and locations of demos, rentals, customer-owned items are accurate.
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in mechanical assembly or related field

Full Charge Bookkeeper
Position Summary
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for all aspects of the financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company’s financial data. Working closely with an external CPA on annual tax return and financial statements when necessary, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform financial recordkeeping, including maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare the cash flow forecast and budget
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee international wire transfers
- Be in charge of month-end close and monthly accruals

Quality Manager
Position Summary
The Quality Manager is a member of the site leadership team responsible for ensuring products manufactured at the site comply with all applicable customer and regulatory requirements. They will ensure the site complies with all ISO and FDA regulations (ISO 9001; ISO 13485; and 21 CRF 820) and is responsible for the control and maintenance of the quality management system. They will oversee all customer complaints, CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement projects. They will support and coach the site team in developing and maintaining a culture of best-in-class Quality through their influence and coaching. The quality manager is responsible for supporting and optimizing site quality operations and practices through effective data analysis and decision making.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct leadership of the site operational Quality and Quality Control lab employees
- Manage and supervise quality personnel including QC laboratory activities and laboratory personnel, coordinating daily work activities, and overseeing instrument calibration and preventative maintenance programs; ensure compliance with written procedures.
- Development and oversee employee training in cGMPs, and annual refresher training for all employees; will coordinate hiring, training, and scheduling for core quality competencies
- Along with R&D, oversees Project Management and product development efforts to ensure proper documentation and QMS is properly maintained

Assay Development Project Manager
Job Description/Summary:
Manage cross-functional, multidimensional teams through full product development cycle (Custom Assay Development (CAD) projects, software projects, equipment manufacturing, and other projects). Maintain the Design History File (DHF) and ensure that documentation is correct, complete, and conforms to ISO 9001:2015 Clauses 8.3 and ISO 13485:2016 Clauses 7.3 regulatory standards. Maintain project reporting for budgets, timeline, and DHF quality. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships as the direct contact with customers on projects. Oversee the process of new project decisions based on market research and historical data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans and timelines using waterfall and agile project methodologies
- Determine project budget, timeline, priority, and risk

- Ensure project requirements outlined in the Statement of Work and Design Requirements document(s) are met or exceeded for both customer and internal projects

Account Manager and Inside Sales Representative
Position Summary
- The Account Manager and Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing key accounts. Key accounts include customer accounts that provide the largest amount of revenue for the company. The Account Manager and Inside Sales Representative will be the primary contact for these key account customers throughout the sales and project cycle and will be responsible for interfacing between the customer and the company’s scientific, technical, and production team to quickly identify and execute solutions to promptly meet the needs of the customer.
- This manager is also a sales representative, primarily in that they are responsible for identifying additional opportunities for key account customers to add value to their enterprise through additional usage of Quansys products and solutions. This account manager and sales rep will also have opportunity to generate new customer leads.

Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and directing the sales force to achieve sales and profit goals. They will design and recommend sales programs and set short- and long-term strategies and goals, and provide input to strategic decisions that affect the sales organization. Evaluate and implement appropriate sales techniques to increase the department’s sales volume. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Position Summary
- The primary responsibility of the Sales Development Specialist (SDS) is NEW customer acquisition. Sales Development Specialists work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute sales funnels and flows for the procurement of new customers. The SDS follows up on marketing qualified leads, generates sales qualified leads, builds an initial relationship with customers, provides information on Quansys products and services, and closes new deals.
- Quansys will provide state-of-the-art tools as well as training to support in this role.

Inside Sales Representative
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring customers receive prompt, professional and accurate responses to requests and inquiries. They provide quotes and information as requested to customers, distributors and reps, and support the sales team by reaching out to potential customers and following up with current customers. This is a customer facing position that requires congeniality and warmth on the phone and in person, as well as attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries within 24 business hours
- Provide accurate quotes and information
- Follow-up with customers who have issues or questions to ensure they had all their needs met satisfactorily
- Track and monitor all issued sales orders in the process
- Customer touch schedule executed for brand awareness with old customers who haven’t ordered within the last 12 months. Touch all non-current customers at least four times per year

Marketing Communications Specialist
Position Summary
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering marketing materials to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. They create and manage literature and content, convey brand messages, and improve brand awareness through their efforts. Assists in the development of sales presentations and provide reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing. May liaise with advertising agencies and public relations firms. This position develops and maintains a sufficient level of product knowledge and technical capabilities relating to the company and the needs of the markets/customers we serve. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the goals and mission of the business.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Execute assigned marketing tasks and assignments

Education:

Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Position Summary
The shipping/receiving clerk works in a warehouse and office environment and is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records. On the shipping side, they package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage. As receiving clerks, they are responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspecting for damaged goods and, once approved, distributing merchandise to the correct departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works in our Inventory Management software (Fishbowl) to create, print, research and oversee inventory, Sales Orders, Work Orders, and inventory depletion item.
- Reviews Sales Orders and determines the method of shipment and prepares packing slips, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents, both domestic and international.
- Build ELISA Kits or bulk orders for shipment by allocating inventory and following Work Order instructions and Bill of Materials
- Receives merchandise both in inventory and miscellaneous items – checks and signs delivery slips/packing slips and assists with unloading as necessary. Receives inventory, labels and properly stores it for inspection.
- Inspects and verifies incoming goods against packing slips or other documents, records shortages, and rejects damaged goods. Creates Non-conforming records as required or submits to Quality for processing.
- Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company procedures.
- Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise. Makes necessary verifications against documents, unpacks, and routes goods to appropriate storage areas. Handles customer pick-ups.
- May operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods
- Maintains internal record-keeping systems
- Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped, and prepares to identify information and shipping instructions
- Knows safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials
- Knows proper shipping procedures for transportation of dangerous goods
- Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock on shelves. Cycle Counts, reviewing Expired Materials, internal inventory depletion are done on a regular basis either weekly or monthly in most cases.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months of logistics, retail, or customer service experience preferred

Position Summary
The Printing Technician I is responsible for production of multiplexed ELISA plates in support of Research and Development and Production. They will be expected to follow established SOPs and run established programs on robotic liquid handlers and other production equipment. They will be expected to perform preventative maintenance on the equipment. They will work under moderate supervision to achieve the production goals in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run established programs on robotic liquid handlers and other laboratory equipment
- Follow established SOPs for daily start up and validation of equipment
- Ensure reagents for plate production are available by checking and maintaining inventory
- Prepare reagents for printing and processing ELISA plates
- Pipetting reagents accurately and reliably
- Assist in troubleshooting problems when they arise
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Demonstrated ability to learn programming and ability to modify existing programs when needed
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/Technical Certificate plus related experience.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Experience in a laboratory environment or equivalent
- Experience with XYZ robotic platforms preferred

Inventory Technician
Position Summary
The Inventory Technician works in a shipping, lab and office environment. The inventory technician will be responsible to help the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory levels to sustain production, quality and R&D activities. The Inventory Technician is responsible for purchasing inventory, R&D items, supplies and other material needs as well as keeping accurate records. The inventory technician will be responsible to build relationships with vendors, keep track of Purchase requests, inventory reorders and maintain a quick turnaround schedule on requests items company wide.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Works in our Inventory Management software (Fishbowl) to deplete inventory accurately by Cycle Counting, Entering Inventory Depletion Forms, selling to accurate departments and other means to correct inventory
- Complete the Cycle Count Schedule as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Inventory Specialist. Complete the physical cycle count, entering into Fishbowl as well as accurate documentation in the Cycle Count Spreadsheet
- Assisting the Purchaser with reorder levels when needed
- Assist the Shipping/Receiving technician with any receiving or kit building/packaging needs as required
- Aids in organizing and maintaining the inventory warehouse / walk in areas of inventory to keep clean, labeled and in well working order
- Assist the Inventory Specialist in maintaining and entering any inventory check outs from the excel sheet on the back shipping computer
- Works in our Inventory Management software (Fishbowl) to create, print, update and work with Purchase Orders. Accurate PO creation, Inventory Unit of Measures, pricing, and lead times are all vital to a good purchasing program
- Reviews Purchase Requests for accuracy and ensure correct signatures, pricing and orders are completed
- When available, obtain multiple supplier costs for items being purchased to ensure competitive pricing, high quality and correct products. Being cost and Quality Conscious of any products is a key component to assist with declining costs associated with production and cost of goods
- Review Inventory Reorder Reports weekly/Bi-weekly/monthly as needed and issue PO’s for required Inventory Reorder items as well as Issue Reorders to the Production Order Board for internal inventory items that are below reorder points
- Knows proper purchasing procedures and Management of our Suppliers
- Assists in Management of Suppliers when needed or directed by the Warehouse Manager. Assists in creating new Suppliers and issuing Supplier initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and any reporting needs required
- Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Maintains internal record-keeping systems
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- 6 months purchasing experience preferred
