Barcode Catalog

The Q-View™ Imager Plus comes equipped with a barcode scanner that simplifies the process of selecting the correct product code with the Q-View™ Software. Each Q-Plex™ Plate has a barcode that the Q-View Software reads to auto-enter the correct product code for you.

The barcode catalog data is found within the Product Catalog File. This file is updated by Quansys Biosciences on a regular basis as new product is released.

The Barcode Catalog File is updated within the Q-View Software automatically when the computer has an Internet connection. When an Internet connection is not available, manual updates of the barcode catalog are required to ensure the most recent barcode data is available to the Q-View Software.

How to install the Barcode Catalog File

Open Q-View Software. From the Settings drop-down menu, select Administration and then Q-View Updates.

Select Update barcode catalog manually. Click the Update barcode catalog from file button.

Navigate to the downloaded barcode catalog file and click OK.
